Update: Will Young Prances for Princes!

In an earlier post, I mentioned the Will Young performance from yesterday's Concert for Diana.

Well, here it is!

PS: I had no idea who will was when he came onstage, but I knew within seconds that he was gay. Smart of him not to have tried to hide it for the sake of his image (though I wonder if NBC would have cut his performance for the network broadcast if he weren't out...hmm...).

Anyway, we're glad he doesn't pretend, because there's NO WAY a straight guy could pull off this silliness:

Thoroughbreds: Two Charming Princes

The princes have come out in support of their long-lost mother, and have proven that inbreeding notwithstanding, the Royals still know good breeding.

Harry is stylish above with a navy umbrella, and William shows that he'll be a fit king when the day comes.

Matt Lauer's interview--surprisingly not very exploitative--reran before NBC's abbreviated (no Will Young!) airing of the Diana Concert last night. We saw the princes' interview and Larry King's interview with Paris Hilton and all we can say is: Old Money vs. New Money = No Contest. When Paris said, "I am grateful for things now. I appreciate things," the comment rang false, but when Harry said he is "grateful we have a house over our head--a lot of people don't have that," he came across as humble and sincere.

We'll say it again: No Contest.

Willful & Young!

Just the way we like 'em! Gay guys and metrosexuals all over the U.S. were wondering yesterday: Who is that white-clad stranger strutting his stuff on the stage at the Concert for Diana?

Why, that's none other than England's very own Kelly Clarkson--he won the very first "Pop Idol," which spawned our "American Idol"--except he's gay and a better dresser.

One of these days he'll land across the pond and we can get a better look at him. I couldn't even find photos from yesterday's concert to post alongside the article, so the older ones above will have to do.

In the mean time, check out his MySpace page and get a listen to what he has to offer!

Becks with His Beard

The style switch-hitter showed up to yesterday's Concert for Diana with a halo-white hairdo and a deep, dark beard.

I guess some people can have it both ways. Becks can have it any way he wants!
