Then and Then and Now: Best Look?
From the Not News Desk, here are three versions of Simon Rex, former MTV VJ. Which Simon has the best style?
1.
Pre-MTV Simon gets nearly naked (fully in the full version, not safe for YouTube).
2.
Simon sweats a white wifebeater at some kind of NSync concert thing circa 1990something
3.
Simon today: He calls himself "McDirtNasty." Somehow this one seems to us like an Andy Samberg SNL short video, except something tells us Simon's intent wasn't to make us laugh. Oops.
Go back to porn.

Perez Hilton's Dirty Secret!
Now, this is just speculation...just a rumor, really, since it's so preposterous, but...
...since Perez has been recently videotaped with Ross the Intern (so sweet!) and now Jewel (so sincere!), we think Perez might actually be...
...wait for it...
...a nice guy!
No! It's not possible, is it?
Is it?!
Jewel says he's a "nice guy undercover."
All we know for sure is that he needs to work on his style.
Check out Jewel with Perez:

Stamos was on Rx Drugs
John Stamos said that his (hopefully) temporary insanity was due to the prescription sleeping pill Ambien. Here's what he told Us Weekly:
“I took Ambien at 5 a.m. and got up at 7 a.m.," he explains. “I was OK and did a few radio interviews. Then I had a break at 10 a.m. I dozed off and couldn’t wake up. Security banged on the door, shook me and woke me up. They threw a jacket on me and put me in front of the camera. I did three or four interviews after that, and no one said a word.”
“It was a weird very out of character hour of my life,” he adds.
We'll say! We're worried about John--he has always seemed so down-to-earth before this weirdness. Though watching him dry hump a glass head was kind of hot.
The actor confides that he has yet to see any of the footage, telling Us, “I’m afraid to look at it.”We say: Be a man, John! Look at it!
Here it is:

This is a Joke, Right?

Found on the always-delightful dlisted.
What the hell magazine is this from??
It's a joke, right?
Impeccably dressed? He looks like a British schoolboy...from a school on Uranus!
Al must have been generous with the Skyy vodka. Obviously the copy writer had a little too much...and probably got a kickback from Star for this one.

Girly Show: Sophie Ellis-Bextor
Some of you know Sophie Ellis-Bextor from her song "Murder on the Dance Floor," but she's new to me. Someone tipped me off to her new album "Trip the Light Fantastic," and it's single "Catch You." We LURVE it!!! Check out the video below.
And since only UK residents can download the album on iTunes (Shame on you, iTunes!!!), use the link below to get the album on Amazon.com.

D.C. Gets Haute @ Universal Gear

Universal Gear gets hot this summer with an underwear fashion show in my home town of Washington, D.C. (a decidedly unfashionable city, I might add).
For more pictures, including these hot models fraternizing with drag queen divas, get them here.

Lance Bass: Dancing with the Boys?

This just in from The Advocate: Rumor has it that Lance Bass is being courted for the next season of Dancing with the Stars. Seems natural what with Joey Fatone's dancing on the show last season.
But there's a catch: Disney might agree to pair Lance up with another guy! And why not? Everyone knows Lance is gay now, thanks to Perez Hilton.
We think Lance should do it, since he failed to make history when he came out the first time. (A little late after Ellen et al.) This is his big chance!
What do you think? Do you want to see Lance dancing with boys? Other than Justin Timberlake, that is?

Update: Will Young Prances for Princes!
In an earlier post, I mentioned the Will Young performance from yesterday's Concert for Diana.
Well, here it is!
PS: I had no idea who will was when he came onstage, but I knew within seconds that he was gay. Smart of him not to have tried to hide it for the sake of his image (though I wonder if NBC would have cut his performance for the network broadcast if he weren't out...hmm...).
Anyway, we're glad he doesn't pretend, because there's NO WAY a straight guy could pull off this silliness:

Dolce Gabbana Men's Summer 2008 Milan Show

DG jumps on the men's underwear bandwagon!
Okay, they were always on it. Even before we were.
If you're interested in more than the gratuitous speedo shots that Beyonce's mom would have been proud to dress her son in, check out the runway video below.
If you can afford that hot white suit, gimme a shout! What I'd do for a hot piece of DG.
Kidding!

All My Children's Alec Musser

I don't know how many children "all" is supposed to refer to, but I bet I know who the baby daddy is!
I've never heard of the guy, but I just might recognize him from now on.
Above is a hot new photo of Alec Musser from an All My Children photo shoot. For more, go here.

Ryan Phillippe Back In Action
Ryan Phillippe honors Clint Eastwood, who was awarded The Spirit of Independence Award, presented by the Los Angeles Film Festival on Thursday at the Hammer Museum in Westwood, Calif.
Eastwood recently directed Ryan in last year’s movie Flag of our Fathers. Ryan has said of Eastwood, “You hear the stories and the mythology, and it’s all true. The guy is incredible. He’s an amazing man. Look at him, 76 years old. He climbed the place we shot Suribachi. They had a helicopter that could have taken him up. The man is out there with two bags over his shoulders at 6 in the morning climbing this mountain. He’s something else.”
We think Ryan is something else (Sorry, Reese!).

McSteamy Loves Topless Child Killers!
(In case you missed it, Becky ran over a little boy in 2001, killing him, and received the uber-harsh sentence of three years of probation, a suspended license (one year), a $2,800 fine, and some community service.
She flipped over a rental car that same year.)
Sexy!
Here, she shows off her crotch-grabbing skills.
Classy!

Thoroughbreds: Two Charming Princes

Harry is stylish above with a navy umbrella, and William shows that he'll be a fit king when the day comes.
Matt Lauer's interview--surprisingly not very exploitative--reran before NBC's abbreviated (no Will Young!) airing of the Diana Concert last night. We saw the princes' interview and Larry King's interview with Paris Hilton and all we can say is: Old Money vs. New Money = No Contest. When Paris said, "I am grateful for things now. I appreciate things," the comment rang false, but when Harry said he is "grateful we have a house over our head--a lot of people don't have that," he came across as humble and sincere.
We'll say it again: No Contest.

Willful & Young!

Why, that's none other than England's very own Kelly Clarkson--he won the very first "Pop Idol," which spawned our "American Idol"--except he's gay and a better dresser.
One of these days he'll land across the pond and we can get a better look at him. I couldn't even find photos from yesterday's concert to post alongside the article, so the older ones above will have to do.
In the mean time, check out his MySpace page and get a listen to what he has to offer!
