James Franco's Gay Orgy In New Orleans (For Real!)

As we all know, James Franco plays a male prostitute in a new movie. In his new GQ interview, he tells about his "research" involving sitting shirtless in a corner of a room while watching an old man and two man whores get it on while snorting coke.

We can't decide--does this make Franco hotter or totally gross??

Here's an excerpt:

"There was a strip club on Bourbon Street. I had only ever been to one strip club before I went to New Orleans to do that movie. But I started going to every strip club. There was one they advertise as 'Live Sex Shows' and I went in there and met a male stripper who said he was straight and that he serviced men and women. I later found out he didn't really tell the truth all the time. But I thought he was a good model for my part. And he was the guy I hung out with the most. He would do lap dances for people, and then in between we hung out in the back. So I was with him one night and this other guy came in. And this guy came in and said to my friend, 'Hey, man, I need you for a job right now—this guy wants two.' And he said, 'I'm hanging out with James doing research for this movie.' And the guy says, 'You're doing research? Okay. You want to do real research. You're going to come down, come to the hotel. This guy's so out of his mind on coke, he won't even know what's going on. You just sit in the corner in the chair, take your shirt off, sit there, you can watch the whole thing.' I said, 'Okay.' "

GQ asks the actor if he wasn't a bit worried about what he was getting himself into?

"Yeah. Heck, yes. But then I thought, 'Well, this is real research. I've got to do this for the role, man, I've got to do this.' But yeah, it was terrifying. Especially when I get there—this guy was a doctor, apparently. He was an older man. And they whip out the cocaine and they start doing cocaine on the desk and I'm like—am I incriminating myself? I mean, I didn't do any of the cocaine. Okay? I just went there to observe. So that was scary. It was in a nice hotel. The guy who took us over had a key to the room. So he just opened up and the doctor is just lying in the bed. And he wasn't completely naked when we got in there, but he certainly got naked."

GQ: And so where in the room did you go?

"I was just standing over near the desk. And they all got in the bed and, I mean, he was out of his head. He was so high on cocaine, I guess, or drunk or whatever, and he was saying, like, 'Oh, my wife and daughters are coming tomorrow, but this is great.' It was the first time I ever saw a cock ring. He put on a cock ring. And then they both kind of like stood over him, and the guy was, like, stroking both of them and he was like, 'Ah, all these cocks, I love these cocks.' " (Later, Franco would tell Cage about all this, and it would become the inspiration for when Cage's character in the movie, a pimp called Acid Yellow, snorts a line and then declares, "I love coke cock.")

GQ: And did you take your shirt off to, so to speak, be in the vibe?

"Yeah, I guess I had my shirt off."

GQ: You must have felt: This is a very weird thing to see.

"It was. It was mixed, because on one hand, it was scary, strange to be there—you know, I've done bad things and I have been arrested but I have never been in that situation. So I was feeling all that, but then on the other hand it is just like a human interaction, so there's none of the movie music going on to heighten the situation. And so it had this strange, you know, casualness to it. Just people having sex, or about to have sex, and there I am standing in the room, you know. And so that was weird."

Tommy Lee: Public Health Crisis?

Tommy Lee has announced what we already new: he loves orgies with stupid groupies. Stupid is as stupid does. Wait, or is that "stupid is who stupid does"?

Anyway, Tommy's allegedly smart ex Pammy Anderson has chronic (and usually terminal) hepatitis C and we think he should have learned his lesson by now.

Oh well. We can keep criticizing, but we know all you care about is this. (NSFW!)

Rape Fantasy Or Nightmare?

Mason Wyler

Adult film stay Mason Wyler posted a graphically detailed and extreme narrative on his MySpace blog, involving a fantasy he has of being drugged, sexually assaulted and humiliated, abducted and on and on. His ended the long post with these words:

After all the men had gotten their rocks off and left... my two kidnappers decided it was time to pass me off to other men... they took a permanent marker and wrote "Freshly tenderized MEAT...5 cents to use this hole" above my ass and chained me to a urinal inside of the bar I had first seen them in.... It turns out they were the owners.. No one was there since it was morning already... And I was so exhausted that I passed out a few minutes after they left.. but when I woke up.. I had a huge dick already fuckin my hole and 18 nickles in a bowl next to my head... It was then that I realized why there was such a long line for the bathroom the night before. Out of all the porn shoots and sexual encounters I've had, I had never been so degraded like that in my entire life. After that day, I was no longer human, I was too ashamed to show my face to anyone except to men who saw me as a living sex toy. I became addicted to getting used and abused... I had become a total piss drinking, cum guzzling cock slut for men with big dicks to fuck, beat, and breed... My hole was no longer mine...

These days I always find myself back there... willing to go thru all that pain over and over again.. just to get fucked, filled, and to feel like a whore.

In your opinion, Would this be a Fantasy or a Nightmare?
And if this is a fantasy of yours, then would you want to be one of the rapists or the one getting raped?

We think this question is an important one, especially with the prevalence of fantasy-based pornography in everyday pop culture these days.

This is our response to Mason's post. We'd love to know what you think.

Mason, You should read the short story "Rape Fantasies" by Margaret Atwood (basic plot info is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_Fantasies). Rape/sexual dominance fantasies and common and probably "normal," depending on how they affect the person's life. Regarding your personal fantasy, it seems like the kind of thing that, like most fantasies do, exaggerates your natural interests to their extreme limits. But surely if this played out in real life, you would not enjoy it. So as a fantasy it might be exciting and stimulating, but as a real-life event it would most likely be devastating. If you were in fact abducted by people you didn't know and they did this to you, the trauma of being held at knifepoint and the physical traumas and potential danger to your health from these actions would very possibly be enough to cause you to experience post-traumatic stress disorder. Consider the realities of this: If this ever were to happen, the guys probably wouldn't be model-gorgeous as they likely are in the image in your mind. If they went this far, too, you'd be lucky to escape with your life. You might experience torn tissue from the rough sex that would cause serious pain, scarring, and possibly make sex throughout the rest of your life difficult or impossible. You might contract HIV, hepatitis C, or any number of diseases. You wouldn't know the men, so you'd have absolutely no psychological comfort or feeling of safety. You'd be on your own, and I would be willing to bet that you wouldn't want to ever experience this again, and would have difficulty with intimate relationships. Rape is a serious and damaging crime against humanity. Rape fantasies are normal in most people, but acting them out is another story. The fantasies involve people who you have full control over, because they are people who are only in your head. In real-life rape situations, the person committing the assault has control over your entire destiny and, if his victim is not compliant (which s/he wouldn't be in the case of a rape), then he's elevated in his mind to the state of total control, by necessity, and usually the sex itself is not the most violent component. Do you really want to be cut, choked, beaten by someone who is causing you pain without any regard for your comfort? That's part of the fantasy, but if you lived it, it would be a nightmare. If you have ever known anyone who has lived through a violent sexual assault, you know how it affects people. It's never, ever a fantasy. Role playing is something different, though. If you were to act this scenario out with people who you knew did not intend you harm, it might be fun. But it would still be a fantasy, and not actual rape. This is a vitally important distinction.

Let's Talk About Sex, Baybee!

As you know, we're inspired by and infatuated with goddess Tori Amos around here, and even if we weren't, this is a good and important cause so...

Let's talk about sex!

There's an awesome new fund raising initiative by bloggers called the Grassroots Bloggers Book Marketing Campaign 2008 to raise money for RAINN, the Rape Abuse and Incest National Network, which was co-founded by the amazing Tori many years ago.

RAINN is an insanely important hotline for survivors of sexual abuse and assaults, and they deserve your money. So as part of this initiative, we're going to become an open book and tell you about OUR sex life. Every day we hope to give you some new little nugget that will excite you, make you laugh, or make you gag! (As for us, we no longer have a gag reflex!)

Expect the first post later today. For now, read about the GBBMC2008 and please, please, please donate to RAINN!

PS: We invite you to post comments or send us an email with your own wonderful or horrible thoughts on sex. It's part of the animal experience! Don't be afraid of it!
